Ontario confirmed 939 new cases of COVID-19 today and, according to multiple sources, will introduce new restrictions being described as “Stage 2 Lite.”
Of the new cases reported, 336 are in Toronto, 126 in Ottawa Region and 150 in Peel Region.
When Stage 2 was in effect, weddings and funerals were restricted to ten people, houses of worship restricted to 30% capacity, library patrons could not touch books on shelves and team sports where banned.
